Sandycove Touring Park

Sandycove Holiday Park is a popular, family-friendly holiday park situated on the scenic Ards Peninsula in County Down, approximately 15 miles south-east of Newtownards. Renowned for its relaxed coastal setting and direct access to a safe, sandy beach, the park is an ideal destination for families, couples, and outdoor enthusiasts looking to enjoy the beauty of Northern Ireland’s coastline.
The park offers a welcoming mix of privately owned holiday homes and a well-equipped touring area with 20 fully serviced hard-standing pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes. Each touring pitch includes an individual electric hook-up and fresh water connection, with generous space for awnings.

Please note that tents, trailer tents and commercial vehicles (Cat N1) are not permitted.

Guests can enjoy a range of on-site facilities designed for all ages, including a modern sanitary block with hot water, a children’s play park, a football pitch, and a full-size tennis court. An on-site LPG stockist is also available for added convenience.
Sandycove Holiday Park is particularly popular with families thanks to its safe beach access, open spaces, and friendly atmosphere. Pets are welcome, provided they are kept under control and on a lead at all times, helping to ensure an enjoyable experience for all visitors.
The touring park typically operates from April through September, while owners of static holiday homes can enjoy an extended season from mid-March until mid-November. As the park is a sought-after destination during weekends, bank holidays, and the peak summer months of July and August, advance booking is strongly recommended to secure a touring pitch.
Whether you’re planning a short coastal getaway or returning year after year with your holiday home, Sandycove Holiday Park offers an excellent base for exploring the beaches, villages, and attractions of the Ards Peninsula.20250812_130708000_iOS 1
